Labor Day Registration Ending Soon
September is less than a month away and preparations are underway for what promises to be a great event.
The crown jewel of our Anniversary Celebration takes place Thursday night as we induct three notables into the Corvette Hall of Fame. Corvette Racing's Ron Fellows will be on hand to accept his award, and those with Ron Fellows Edition Corvettes are invited to enjoy special parking during the event. Other inductees include Clare MacKichen and Ray Quinlan. Seating is limited so make your reservations today! Group reserved tables are also available.
Other event highlights include plenty of road tours, including some new "Lifetime Members Only" trips, Ladies' Oasis, Lifetime Member dinner, seminars, open membership meeting and other activities.
If you've not signed up yet, you only have until August 17 to pre-register! Check out the agenda here. |
If you live on the west coast and have a need for speed, your chance to fulfil that need is just around the corner! NCM is once again hosting a High Performance Driving Event in conjunction with Hooked on Driving and the Western States Corvette Council.
The event takes place on September 8 with a bbq luncheon and scenic coastal mountain range drive and parade laps set for September 7. Special guests include Kirk Bennion, Chief Designer of the C6, and Gerry Panetta of the GM Design Studio. Cost for the luncheon is only $15, and cost for the driving school is $295. Learn more and register online here. |
February 12, 2012 begins a new adventure for NCM fans. Our cruise on the Celebrity Infinity "around the horn" of South America is slated to be 14 nights of fun and fellowship. Stops include Chile, Argentina and Uruguay with fascinating views of mountain peaks, fjords and rainforests.

Only 14 spots remain for this fantastic trip, and the deposit deadline is August 15. View the complete agenda online here, and save your spot today! Check out our You Tube video online here, too! |
Corvette License Plates Offered
Mississippi Corvette Club, Inc. has sponsored a law authorizing a specialty car tag to support the National Corvette Museum and celebrate the Corvette. Mississippi residents can purchase a tag for $31.00 and $24 of that goes to the NCM with the remaining $7.00 going to various MS government agencies.
If you would like to reserve a tag, please send an application (available online here) and a check for $31.00 made payable to Mississippi Corvette Club, Inc. to: Mississippi Corvette Club, Inc., P.O. Box 2703, Jackson, MS 39207
The tags are available for any automobile, not just Corvettes. When 300 tags have been sold, Mississippi Corvette Club, Inc. will submit your application and $31.00 to the Mississippi Department of Revenue, which will print the tags. You will then be notified when you can pick up your tag at your county tax collector’s office. No tags will be printed until a total of 300 tags have been sold and the deadline is October for a January print date. Your $31.00 will be fully refunded in the unlikely event that at least 300 tags are not sold. You can follow the progress of the tag sales on the Club website. When you renew your tag each year, you will be charged $31.00 in addition to the cost of a regular tag by your county tax collector.
