Raffle Winner Drawn

On Friday, December 9 we drew the winner of the 2006 Monterey Red Coupe raffle, and congratulations go out to Susan Persing of Burleso, Texas (ticket number 407) who was drawn as the winner.

Susan was watching the drawing on our webcams when the call was placed via cell phone and knew the minute she received the call from us that she had won. Susan’s husband bought a ticket a few months ago and encouraged his wife to purchase a ticket when we started the countdown on the number of tickets left. The excited raffle winner will be taking delivery of her new Corvette in the next few weeks. Thanks to everyone who participated. Your next chance to win is coming up January 31 when we will draw the winner of the “Build Your Own” Z06 raffle. Only 500 tickets will be sold and are available online http://www.corvettemuseum.com/raffle/index.shtml
or by calling (800) 53-VETTE. The winner need not be present to win.

Kentucky - Home to the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games

GM Looks for Continued Dominance of Le Mans

Corvette Racing is aiming for its sixth consecutive American Le Mans Series manufacturer’s championship and a fifth 24 Hours of Le Mans victory in 2006 with a pair of new Corvette C6.R race cars.

Applying the lessons learned with this year's championship-winning entries, the new 2006 Corvette C6.Rs will feature enhanced aerodynamics and further developments in the LS7.R engine as permitted by the series regulations.

The ALMS will hold events in two new venues in 2006 as the 10-race series will run in the streets of Houston in May and at the new Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City in July. Stay tuned to NCM eNews for the latest Corvette Racing updates.
