C5/C6 Bash Event Will Offer a Corvette Quality Clinic

Engineers who handle quality for the Corvette Assembly Plant will be working with Performance Car quality staff from Detroit to conduct a Customer Quality Clinic for the third year in a row at this year’s Bash event.

Rarely done outside of special clinic locations, this provides a chance for C6 owners to communicate with Corvette engineers and get answers to any questions they may have.  The quality team will open registration soon and we will provide this info to all event participants.

We hope you can join us at this year’s Bash event scheduled for April 26-28. Find out why the C5/C6 Bash is one of the biggest and best events to experience as a Corvette owner by visiting our website at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/registration/c5_bash/info.shtml

Family Time for Corvette Racing’s Fellows

Ron Fellows will represent the American Le Mans Series and participate Jan. 17 in "Auto Racing Day" at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Fellows who has won three GT1 championships, ranks second in career starts (68) and is tied for third in wins (25) – recently had surgery on his right shoulder to repair ligament and rotator cuff damage. "It's just something that has occurred with wear and tear over the years," said Fellows. "It bothered me most of the year, but when I went to have it checked in November I was told I'd better have some repair work done."

Fellows, who had four titanium screws put in his shoulder, is expected to be ready to test by mid to late February. In the meantime, he is spending much of his off season with his two favorite passions – his family and hockey. He recently took his son, Sam who was celebrating his 13th birthday, to see a classic Maple Leafs 5-4 victory over Tampa Bay.
