Ride and Drive Auction Winner

Congratulations to Ed Glazer, the high bidder on the 2009 Ride and Drive Auction Adventure! Ed is really looking forward to the trip and being able to have the time to enjoy the new Corvette models and the company of the GM and Corvette Quarterly team.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this exciting auction that generated over $26,000 for the Museum. Special Displays Planned for this Year’s C4/ZR-1 Gathering

This year’s C4/ZR-1 Gathering event (May 8-10) will offer activities that the Gathering is famous for such as drag racing, autocross, road tour excursions, tech sessions, seminars and a chance to see special displays and seminars dedicated to the C4 Corvette Challenge Cars!

Participants can see these historic cars and enjoy racing footage and roundtable discussions pertaining to their significant marks in Corvette history.  Many of the activities have a limited number of open slots available, so view the complete agenda and register now for the Gathering at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/registration/gathering/info.shtml

Delivery Team Work!

Our delivery team stays busy welcoming new Corvette owners each week who are participating in the R8C Museum Delivery and Buyers Tour Programs. There are 12 Buyers Tours being tracked at this time and we are currently scheduling each day. If you haven’t heard about the Buyers Tour Program, it has become highly requested and offers new Corvette owners a chance to schedule a time to see their new Corvette being assembled on the line at various stages – pending any line or scheduling issues.

There are 22 Museum Deliveries scheduled for this week and over 20 already slated for next week. Taking delivery of your new Corvette at the Museum is a memorable experience to include as part of your Corvette purchase. Owners selecting the R8C option receive a VIP tour of the Museum and Plant, hands-on introduction, individual membership to the Museum, decal and more as part of the program benefits. We welcome hundreds of new Corvette owners through these programs and enjoy sharing in the excitement with them. Find out more about any of these programs exclusive to the National Corvette Museum by visiting our website or calling 1-800-205-4248.
