Military Corvette Photos Wanted
 As an ever-changing Museum, we not only change out the cars but also other exhibit areas. Within the Nostalgia area of the Museum is a panel of photos. We will be trading out the current display with images of military personnel (perferably in uniform) with their Corvette. We will also accept photos of Corvettes in front of military landmarks or equipment. Email high resolution images for consideration to katie@corvettemuseum.org.

Feature Your Car on Cafe Tables
 NCM members can now reserve a spot in our Corvette Café with a 4 inch x 2.54 inch table display space! We replace the table tops every 2 years, so if your car is currently on the table you will want to sign up again to ensure it's on the new ones!
We have 270 table top photo display positions available to feature your Corvette image, year, make and color, name and city/state.
This opportunity is available on a first come-first serve basis. You must provide a high quality (300dpi) digital image in jpg or tif format to be eligible - no spaces will be reserved without image and information. Please send an image of your Corvette only – no models please. Table positions will be assigned as received. You have until March 15 to reserve your spot by uploading your image and information online and making your payment of $50 via our website. These make great Birthday and Valentine's gifts! |
California High Performance Driving School Scheduled
 Our third annual event brings Corvette drivers together from all over the nation and is managed by the experienced team of leaders and coaches at Hooked On Driving. The driving school is scheduled for September 8 at Thunderhill in Willows, CA. Registration is open NOW at www.hookedondriving.com – go to Events Listings. Launch and luncheon on September 7th in Maxwell, CA with a spectacular drive to the track as an option.

New NCM Insurance Site Launched
 The NCM Insurance Agency unveiled a redesigned website this week that makes quoting collector car insurance as easy as the click of a button. The redesign allows current customers the opportunity to manage their policies, request ID cards, make policy changes and more. The new site also helps the National Corvette Museum more effectively provide useful information about collector vehicle coverage’s and offer online tools to facilitate the process for them.
NCM Insurance offers insurance plans for owners who drive up to 1K, 3K or 6K miles per year who occasionally drive their cars to enthusiast events, club meetings and on special trips. Check out the new website here. |
New Caravan Captain Announced
 We are pleased to announce Holt Davis as the captain for the Arizona/New Mexico caravan. Holt is from Artesia, NM and is already working the logistics with Hib Halverson of the Southern California/Southern Nevada caravan. Holt is a welcome addition to our group of captains.

Congratulations to Robert Huerta of Plainview, TX! He correctly identified it as a 1970 Buick Gran Sport. Robert scored a Corvette t-shirt and a Museum family pass.

Flint Brick from Original Home of the Corvette
The GM Assembly Plant where the 300 1953 Corvettes were made in Flint, Michigan was razed in 2003. Thanks to General Motors, the National Corvette Museum has obtained the bricks to use as a fundraiser for the museum. The bricks have been cleaned and the historic pieces of the 1953 Corvette's heritage are now available for enthusiasts to own.

FEBRUARY IS MATCHING GIFTS MONTH
The month of February has been designated as Matching Gift Month.
Nearly 16,000 companies and subsidiaries offer matching gift programs as a benefit to their employees. About 4,500 of the 16,000 match volunteer time, and many match retirees and spousal giving.
