Registration Opening for Performance Tour

It's the birthplace of new GM vehicles, including Corvette. Home of automotive designers and engineers, where a car's concept goes from paper to Proving Grounds. The Warren Tech Center and Milford Proving Groups are rarely visible to the enthusiast world... but in true NCM VIP fashion we take you where no others can.

July 20-21 a small group will tour the Tech Center, meeting designers, visiting the wind tunnel, talking to Corvette engineers and learning about the support engineering available at the Warren, MI facility. Then on Saturday spend the day driving on Milford's High Banked Oval and get pictures with your car on the track.

This special fundraiser is only open to 20 Corvettes / 40 people and will include 3 nights lodging at a 5-star hotel, breakfast 3 mornings, lunch and special dinners Friday and Saturday plus a DVD of photos from the trip. Cost for this very rare and special opportunity is $4400 per car (2 people) and a substantial portion is tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

View more details online here and registration will open February 15.

NCM Board Nominations Now Accepted

NCM Members interested in serving on our Board of Directors may submit their resume for consideration. We will have two open spots at the end of this year and deadline to apply is March 30. If you have applied in the last two years and your information is still current, you can simply contact us to request that your on-file resume be re-submitted for consideration.

Please submit resumes to Connie Russell,

Super Bowl MVP Awarded a Corvette

In case you missed Sunday's Super Bowl, Corvette got a moment in the spotlight as the game's MVP, New York Giant's QB Eli Manning, was presented with keys to a brand new, 2012 Centennial Edition Grand Sport.

"It says a lot that it's the American sports car... to be given to the MVP of what is an American phenomenon with the Super Bowl. I think it says a lot about the car," said John Fitzpatrick, Marketing Manager of Chevrolet Performance Cars.

Overhaulin' Episode Features Corvette

If you've missed past episodes of TLC's show Overhaulin' they are replaying a favorite episode Friday night featuring a Corvette.

Episode 9: Roadies Stole My 'Vette!
The 1957 Corvette has been in Carl's family for 46 years. But Carl and his wife are too busy with their family and business. Meanwhile, the Corvette sits in the garage, waiting for the time and money that will one day restore it to its original "cool."

The program airs February 10 at 7pm and 10pm CT, and again at 2am February 11. Check your local listings for Discovery's Velocity Channel. Thanks to Jack Abuya for sharing this info!

C6 Corvette Bed Coming Soon

We were excited to see a preview of a new "toy" which will be unveiled next week at the New York Toy Fair, and set to retail this summer. The Step2 Corvette Collection offers a Corvette Bed (retail $229, add lights for $5 more), Corvette Tool Chest Dresser (retail $109.99), Corvette Storage Chest (retail $64.99) and Corvette LIft & Toll Toy Box (retail $39.99).

Yes, the Corvette Store will carry these. And no, we aren't sure if 6' tall, 200 lb. men can fit in these twin beds.
