Corvette Racing to Defend American Le Mans Series Championships in 2007

America's premier production sports car team intends to return to the American Le Mans Series in 2007 to defend its GT1 manufacturers, team and drivers championships.

Corvette Racing also plans to race for its sixth GT1 class title in seven years at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. "The Corvette C6.R race program continues Chevrolet's tradition of racing production-based vehicles to improve the breed," said GM Racing director Mark Kent. "The continuous exchange of information and the constant transfer of technology between the racing and production programs ensure that lessons learned on the track benefit every Corvette on the highway."

NASCAR Cup Cars to Highlight Rick Hendrick Fundraiser at Bash Event

The Jeff Gordon #24 and Jimmy Johnson #48 Cup cars will be on display for the C5/C6 Bash - April 26-28. The "Evening with Rick Hendrick" on Thursday night, April 26 kicks off an exciting weekend for Corvette enthusiasts. Hendrick Motorsports will also be sending several Corvettes from Mr. Hendrick's collection.

Attendees (one per couple) to the "Evening With Rick Hendrick" will also receive:

• The 2006 Daytona Pace Car Diecast autographed by Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson and Rick Hendrick.
• Jimmy Johnson Special Edition Diecast autographed by Jimmy Johnson and crew members of the #48 car.
• A Hendrick Motorsports collectible DVD of the highlights of the 2006 race season.
• Personal time with Mr. Hendrick who will address those in attendance and then take questions.
• Catered reception.

This exciting evening is open to the first 75 couples that register. The donation of $500 per couple for NCM Members and $600 per couple for non-members will go towards the building addition. A significant portion of the donation will be deductible to the extent of the law.

NCM to Attend NCRS Florida Regional Show This Weekend

The NCRS Florida Regional held at Old Town in Kissimmee is this weekend, January 19 – 21. 

NCM Membership team members, Stephanie Morrill and Megan Meredith will be part of the event and will be set up with merchandise, raffle tickets and more at the NCM booth. High Performance Driving Event Registration Opens Monday

Just a reminder that registration for the July 2-3 Virginia International Raceway High Performance Driving Event opens Monday, January, 22 .

Participation is limited to only 125 students. Registration will go live at 8:00 am CT.
