We Made the GM Sales Incentive Goal!

We have documentation in hand for 106 new GM purchases through the GM Sales Incentive Program – which means a $25,000 donation to our Building Campaign!

We had numerous calls from folks offering to continue working on the challenge up until the final countdown moment and we sincerely appreciate the support. We couldn’t have done it without the many supporters and members who encouraged their club members and friends who owned non-GM vehicles (1996 model year or newer) to consider purchasing a new GM vehicle.

C5 Unveiling 10th Anniversary

January 6th marks the 10th anniversary of a major milestone for both Corvette and the Corvette Museum.

At a time when the Museum was in default on its loan covenants, and was facing potential foreclosure, Chevrolet introduced the new C5 Corvette, on January 6th, 1997 and the Museum was selected to be a satellite location for the special viewing. Over 200 Corvette enthusiasts came to be a part of the unveiling event, and each paid a $25 admission fee, purchased merchandise in the Corvette Store, bid on auction items donated to the Museum, and enjoyed the day touring the Museum. This event provided not only some much needed revenue for the Museum, but truly marked a turning point for us because of the enthusiasm and new found excitement for the Museum.

Donate Miles to Military

Fisher House, which serves our wounded military and their families, needs frequent-flier miles.

Your donation will help soldiers wounded in Afghanistan or Iraq to fly home after their treatment or will help their families fly to visit them. More than 7,000 airfares have been donated. Find out more about donating your frequent-flier miles by visiting: http://www.fisherhouse.org and clicking on “Hero Miles.”
