Bash Event Update
Approximately 450 people are pre-registered for the C5/C6 Bash event scheduled for April 24-26! Seating for our celebration with retiring Corvette Assembly Plant Manager, Wil Cooksey and new plant Manager, Paul Graham is filling quickly. Only 200 seats are available for this special evening planned to give farewells to Wil and to meet-n-greet Paul.
It all takes place at the Sloan Convention Center and will be a memorable evening - guaranteed. The Bash is also the perfect event to get facts and photos on the new ZR1 as part of the 2009 model year “walk-around” with the GM team! Drag racing, road tour excursions, seminars, poker run and much more are part of this year’s festivities, which also include a ceremony marking the ground breaking of our new expansion! We will have a special reserved section at the ground breaking ceremony for those wearing our commemorative hard hats. Corvette Clubs Making Visits 
We are thrilled to be planning into spring with Corvette Club visits with members and enthusiasts from across the U.S. The months of March through May are filling fast and clubs are scheduling activities that include tours of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant, road tour excursions, club brick and commemorative bench unveilings and dinner in the Museum’s skydome. World’s only Corvette “Threes” Exhibit on Display
Guests visiting the Museum have a chance to see a new display featuring the World’s only showcasing of the collectible “threes”!
This historic display features one “Three” Corvette from each decade 1953-2003. On display through the end of 2008, this rare collection features the first Corvette, a 1953 Roadster; a 1963 Split Window Coupe; a 1973 Coupe; the only 1983 Corvette in existence; a 40th anniversary 1993 ZR-1 and a 2003 Corvette Z06. Other new exhibits recently added include a collection of Corvette Police Cars. The NCM is a “living” Museum and displays are constantly changing. Photography is welcome inside the NCM, open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. Alaskan Corvette Cruise Update
The Museum’s annual Corvette Cruise is an adventure that takes Corvette enthusiasts to places most only dream of and at very reasonable rates. NCM Members receive even better savings and you can be a part of the 7th Annual Corvette Cruise when we sail around Alaska, May 30, 2008. Ports of call include: Vancouver, the Inside Passage, Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway and more.
See walls of ice that stretch up 5,000 feet to shake hands with the sky, hear the murmur of prospectors haunting old-world shops and saloons, see totem poles scowling over temperate rain forests while salmon jump through crisp mountain streams. In addition to great adventures, the cruise group will be uniting with two Corvette groups in Vancouver and Anchorage for some exciting Corvette fun!
