If you've seen our Nurburgring display and the video of the record setting laps, or followed the online chatter of records set by Corvette - you might have wondered who was behind the wheel. The NCM Bash is your opportunity to meet Chevrolet's world record holding driver, Jim Mero! Jim will be here to share his stories of setting records, and on display at the Museum are the two latest record setters - the Z06 and ZR1!

Also new to Bash are seminars by GM Powertrain and Design. They'll be doing a seminar with clay model demos - never before seen outside the studio.

As always, the Museum will have an unveiling of the 2013 Corvette and give you the chance to get up close and personal with the cars and the team who designed them - and autograph sessions are available.

The Corvette Plant has announced dates which tours will not be open to the public for 2012, not only including their summer shutdown and changeover period but also time to work on the next generation Corvette.

Tours are guided and depart Monday through Thursday at 8:30am, 11:30am, 12:45pm and 2pm Central Time and last one hour and fifteen minutes. Tours can be pre-booked at least 9 days in advance but walk-ins are always welcome.

Tours will not be offered: Jan. 13-16, 23-31; Feb. 1-3, 10, 17, 24; Mar. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; Apr. 6, 13, 20, 27; May 4, 11, 18, 25-28; Jun. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; Jul. 1-31; Aug. 1-3, 10, 17, 24, 31; Sept. 3, 7, 14, 21, 28; Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26; Nov. 2, 6, 22-23, 30, Dec. 7, 14, 21, 24-31. No 2pm Tours Apr. 2-5 and May 29-31.

We're taking the excitement of Museum events on the road as we head south for the ALMS race at Sebring, with loads of fun and fellowship along the way.

The trip officially kicks off on March 12 at Panama City Beach, Florida heading east along the Panhandle with a stop at the "Big Daddy" Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, shopping and dining at St. Armand's Circle in Sarasota and other scenic travels.

The highlight of the tour includes VIP access to the Sebring Corvette Corral, a visit to the paddock and Corvette Racing trailer and more.
