Participants have the opportunity to take part in parade laps and a pit walk prior to the race. A Celebrity Choice Car Display on Friday will feature celebrity judges from the ALMS, Chevrolet and the Corvette Racing Team, and others. Steve Wesloski, Road Racing Group Manager for GM Racing, will cover the details of the C6-R race car during his walk-around presentation. A Corvette engineer will give participants a car design and engineering walk around featuring the 2005 Corvette C6, the new Corvette Z06 and accompanying rolling chassis. The first 100 Corvettes registered will take part in an IMSA facilitated parade around the Portland International Raceway on Friday, complete with commemorative group photo at the historic PIR Start/Finish line by professional photographers. Showcase Your Club’s Support in a “club member” Display

If your club is a business/club member of the NCM, then you will want to be a part of a special drawing that could put one of your club member’s Corvettes on display inside the Museum!

This special recognition program was designed to reward and thank our business/club members for all of the support they give throughout the year. There are approximately 50 clubs supporting the NCM as business/club members. We will begin by choosing six clubs, and the first three will be drawn at our annual Corvette Celebration – Labor Day weekend September 1-4. The next three clubs will be drawn January 10.  If your club is a business/club member and is interested in participating, please submit your club information, including a point of contact – no later than August 30 for the Labor Day drawing. Seven Weeks Till the Velocity Yellow Convertible Raffle Drawing

The Labor Day weekend Corvette Celebration is approximately seven weeks away, and we are excited to once again draw another winner of a new Corvette as part of the event festivities!

If you have a ticket on the 2006 Velocity Yellow Convertible – you could be the next person drawn as the winner of a new Corvette! Only 2,006 tickets are being sold on this raffle fundraiser and tickets are available at $100 each. This Corvette convertible sports a black top and interior and features the new “Velocity Yellow” color. The winner will also take delivery of the new Corvette as a participant in the Museum Delivery Program which entitles them to a VIP tour of the Museum and Corvette plant, hands-on introduction by a delivery team member, complimentary one-year individual membership to the Museum and much more. Museum Deliveries by the Dozen

With July deliveries wrapping up, we were happy to host a special delivery of 12 new Corvettes to owners and general managers of various dealerships across the south-east region today.

These Corvettes will be sold to customers and now have the official marking of being a “Museum Delivery” Corvette. We are excited to be scheduling many Museum deliveries into the next month, and to date over 40 new Corvette owners will be visiting the Museum in August to take part in the once-in-a-lifetime experience of the R8C program. A VIP tour of the Museum and Assembly Plant, hands-on experience with a trained delivery team member, one-year individual membership to the Museum, program decal and plaque and much more are part of this unique program experience available only through the Museum. Z06 Fest Begins

We are thrilled to welcome over 300 pre-registered participants for this year's Z06 Fest - July 21-23!

Drag racing, autocross, seminars, road tours and so much more are part of the activities planned for this weekend's event.
