NCM to Host Corvette Stamp Ceremony – August 22 
On Monday, August 22, we will host a special unveiling ceremony highlighting the commemorative Corvette stamp which is one of a set of five – “ America on the Move: Sporty Cars of the 50’s” collector stamps.
Thanks to the efforts of the Bowling Green Post Office, who will be on-hand at the NCM on August 22, stamp collectors and enthusiasts will be able to purchase a commemorative cachet envelope created by the NCM that features the Corvette stamp, postmarked with a special cancellation. A limited number of cachets will be made available. Information will be posted via our website on how you can pre-order these collectible pieces. Stay tuned – more information is coming soon! The first-day-of-issue for the “ America on the Move: Sporty Cars of the 50’s” stamp set is August 19.

C3 Extravaganza Event Registration Opens
Registration has opened for the C3 Extravaganza - October 13-15!
This exciting event is co-hosted by the C3 Vette Registry and highlights the third generation Corvette, but all enthusiasts are welcome. Drag racing, autocross, road tour lunch excursions to area attractions, seminars and much more are planned for all in attendance. C3 Owners who pre-register for the event also have an opportunity to be a part of the designing of the commemorative dash plaque that is included as part of the pre-registration package. 101 st Airborne Visits the NCM
The Aco 6 - 101 Warlords, a Black Hawk helicopter unit of the 101st Airborne out of Ft. Campbell, KY, made a special visit to the NCM last week.
Their visit was a special reward to the group for their hard work in preparation of their deployment in the fall. The group of 22 soliders and family members enjoyed a guided tour of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant, lunch and then met with members of our local Army recruiting office prior to heading back to Ft. Campbell.

Our next event is scheduled for July 21-23 as we welcome “Z06 Fest” participants for a weekend of speed and performance! Drag racing, autocross, road tour excursions, and a Z06 walk around in the Museum’s front circle are just part of the exciting activities. Get Ready for the Race at Infineon
Corvette racing excitement moves west to the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California July 15-17 for round 4 of the ALMS and the NCM is co-host of the exciting corral joined by the Western States Corvette Council (WSCC).
In addition to the corral, a special dinner is planned for Saturday night July 16th featuring Corvette race team members slated as special guests. Less than 50 banquet tickets are available - reserve your tickets before Monday, July 11 to be a part of the excitement.
