New Collector Car Appreciation Day
A new event for the National Corvette Museum, Collector Car Appreciation Day raises awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society. To commemorate this day the Museum will be hosting an array of activities on Friday, July 8 beginning at 10am.
All of the activities at the Museum are free - including a car cruise-in, seminars and parade, and collector car drivers (and passengers) will receive a $2.00 discount off regular adult admission.
In addition a number of great door prize drawings will be held including a free carburetor of your choice from Holley Performance Products, free set of tires from Goodyear, gift cards from O'Reilly Auto Parts and much more!

Parking Lot Banner Spots Available
Showcase your club, event or business' pride to thousands of Museum visitors! The banners go up prior to our Labor Day Event and remain up for one year. You also get to keep the banner once it comes down.
There are a limited number of banner spots available on a first come, first serve basis. Reserve your spot today by mailing a check for $350 to the Museum, Attention Katie, 350 Corvette Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101 or call in with your credit card information at 270-467-8846.

Z06 Fest Registration Now Live
Join us September 15-17 for the premier performance oriented event - Z06 Fest!
Thursday's agenda includes a seminar on preparing your Vette for a HPDE, and a free guided roller coaster road tour. Z06Vette.com is also sponsoring a Makers Mark Road Tour and welcome BBQ at Baymont Inn.
Friday steps up the speed a bit with drag racing at Beech Bend as well as seminars on autocross & car care, a car show, and for those who want some good road cruising, a run to Rough River State Park for a boat ride and lunch.
Saturday rounds out the schedule with autocross, a road tour to Barren River Lake, presentation of the 2012 Corvette by engineers from the Assembly Plant and ends with the banquet.
On-line registration closes Tuesday, September 6th, but register early to make sure you have a spot saved in the limited space activities. On-line registrants will receive a hardcard credential, lanyard, event pin and dash plaque. Next week, Thursday, June 9, we raffle the chance to "Build Your Own" 2012 Z06 or Grand Sport with $60,000 cash option. The winner can select either a coupe or convertible Grand Sport, Z06 or cash. If a car is selected, pick the color and options, including the new Centennial Edition package. Tickets are only $150 each, and the raffle is limited to 1,500 tickets.

Corvette Homecoming Coming Soon
Our friend, Joe Pruitt, throws a nice party and you're all invited! His event, National Corvette Homecoming, (though not affiliated with the Museum's events) is July 14-16, 2011 at the Sloan Convention Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Joe has some great activities planned, including seminars, arts & crafts marketplace, vendor swap meet, car corral, autograph session, reunion show, live music, all Corvette parade led by this year's grand marshall Lance Miller and more! Founding, Charter, Individual and Family members who renew their membership now through Saturday, September 3 at noon will be entered to win complimentary registration to our High Performance Driving School at Autobahn in Joliet, IL on October 3.
Only one entry per renewing member, and the drawing will take place in the open Membership Meeting during the Museum's Labor Day festivities in the Chevrolet Theatre.

Brick from the Original Home of the Corvette

The GM Assembly Plant where the 300 1953 Corvettes were made in Flint, Michigan was razed in 2003. Thanks to General Motors, the National Corvette Museum has obtained the bricks to use as a fundraiser for the museum.
