Ceremonial Bill Signing Held at Corvette Plant
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear visited the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, Ky. on Tuesday to ceremonially sign House Bill 104, which designates the Corvette as the official state sports car of Kentucky.
"You know it's an icon, it's known all over the world and the amazing thing for us is every one of them is made right here in Bowling Green, Kentucky. We want to brag about that, we want people to know it. And I think us declaring it's the State's official sports car is going to help even more all over the world," said Gov. Beshear.

STOLEN: 1996 CORVETTE GRAND SPORT #947 IN NORTH MIAMI BEACH

Thursday, June 10th this Grand Sport was stolen out of the driveway of the owner's house. The owner, Margie Love, had pulled into her driveway in her other car around 10pm and interrupted a burglary of her home. The robber(s) had found the keys to the Grand Sport and used it as a getaway car, causing a massive amount of damage in the process.
Only 1,000 Admiral Blue Grand Sports were made in 1996, so if you spot one in the South Florida area, call the police and have them check it out. Read more on the Corvette Blogger site. |
