2008 Corvette 427 Limited Edition Z06 Raffle Winner Drawn!

Congratulations to Phillip Hall from Olympia, WA drawn on Tuesday afternoon as the winner of the 2008 427 Limited Edition Z06 Corvette raffle. Phillip held winning ticket number 146.

Friday, June 27th, is the date of the 8th Annual Drive Your Corvette To Work Day, sponsored by Mid America Motorworks. In honor of Drive Your Corvette To Work Day, enthusiasts across the United States make "America's Sports Car" their commuter car for the day. Every year, the Friday closest to June 30, Corvette’s official birthday, is chosen to observe Drive Your Corvette To Work Day.

In addition, Kentucky Governor Steven Beshear has officially marked June 30 as “Corvette Day” for a day of recognition to Corvette in Kentucky and notes Corvette and its legacy as a source of pride for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Corvette Celebration is just around the corner and pre-registration ends in a little over a month – August 15. Lifetime members of the Museum will receive “free” admission to the Museum and on-site activities, and will need to pre-register for the Lifetime/VIP dinner and other activities with additional fees involved such as road tour excursions and the Corvette Hall of Fame.

Other levels of NCM Membership can register for only $10 per person plus fees for any additional activities they participate in. If you have been watching the NCM Construction Cam then you have seen a lot of things really taking shape. Concrete work has been going on this week and many of the large steel girders and the barrel roof pieces are going up now.

A second construction cam will be going up on the inside of the Museum soon to help showcase the action taking place on the new Corvette Boulevard – stay tuned.
