Congratulations to Milton Lewis drawn today as the winner of the 2008 Black Corvette Coupe raffle! Milton purchased two tickets and has never owned a Corvette. “I can’t believe this! My first three words as a child were airplane, mom and Corvette!” Milton shared with us. He is also very happy that he "finally" owns a new Corvette! We hope you are planning to join us at our 14th Anniversary Corvette Celebration August 28-30. Special displays in honor of our Corvette Hall of Fame inductees are part of the event. Guests in attendance will have an opportunity to see the 1969 V.V. Cooke L88 Corvette race car driven by Corvette Hall of Fame inductee Allan Barker with the help of his brother Don.

V.V. Cooke Chevrolet in Louisville, Kentucky, enlisted Allan to convert the Corvette to B-Production specs. While racing this car, Allan went on to win a phenomenal string of 26 races, including the National B-Production Championships in 1971 and 1972. In 1973, the car was sold to Bill Jobe who continued the string of wins clinching two more SCCA B-Production Championship titles in 1973 and 1974.
