Corvette Racing Leads Wednesday's Testing Session at Sebring

The American Le Mans Series(ALMS) is a sports car racing series based in the United States and Canada. It consists of a series of endurance and sprint races, and was created in the spirit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Teams compete in one of four classes: LMP1 and LMP2 for Le Mans Prototypes, and GT1 and GT2 for Grand Touring cars. Race lengths vary from 1 hour, 40 minutes to 12 hours.

Wednesday's Testing Session at the 58th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring kicked off with a great start for Corvette Racing. At 4:14 pm the checkered flag was waved for the session with the #3 Corvette in 1st in the GT2 Class with a time of 2:01.837, and the #4 Corvette in 2nd in the GT2 Class with a time of 2:02.620. The next session began this morning at 10:30 am Eastern.

You can catch the Corvette Racing excitement of the official race on the Speed Channel at 10 am Eastern on Saturday, March 20.

Check out the new Corvette Racing Series: Episode One here on You Tube.
