From the Very First Acre

Lifetime Member and current Board Member Henry Younger has been a part of the One Acre club since Acre one! That's right. He bought the very first acre when the program started. "I was glad I could do it. Wil Cooksey and Wendell Strode presented me with the deed which is now hanging at my shop. I'm very proud to have been able to do that. It was a big honor for me. I'm glad for the progress that has been made on the Motorsports Park so far to date and there is a lot of enthusiasm building for this project. Who knows? I might buy another acre or two. I am glad though to have the first one."

NCM Parking Lot Banners Available

How would you like to feature your Corvette Club on a banner in the Museum's parking lot? We are now accepting submissions for our annual banner program!

Banner spots are reserved for $350 on a first come, first serve basis. The banners include a club's logo and up to four lines of text. The Museum designs each banner, and the banners will be printed and hung in August. The banners will remain up for one year, after which time the club gets to keep the banner.

This year clubs can reserve their banner spot online upon mailing $350 to the Museum. More information and the online reservation form can be found here.

Two Corvette Winners Drawn

Last week was an exciting week at the NCM, not only with Bash going on but also TWO Corvette raffles! If you missed our emails announcing the winners - the 2012 Carlisle Blue Grand Sport went to Jon Seltenheim of Lemoyne, PA with ticket #56. We sold all 500 available tickets! The winner of our 2012 Torch Red Convertible was Kenneth McClung of Greenwood, IN with ticket #14715.

Next Thursday, May 10 is your chance to win a "Build Your Own" 2013 ZR1 Corvette! This raffle gives you the option to build a ZR1 OR 427 Convertible, or take $80,000 cash! There is also a 2nd prize of $1,000 and 3rd prize of $500.

Free Admission for Moms and Teachers

Two of the most important people in our lives have holidays coming up! Next week we are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week by offering active teachers and their families free admission May 6-12.

Then, on May 13, let us show our thanks to all the moms out there with free admission! Just be sure to let us know you are a mom.

Thanks to both of these groups of people and we hope to see you at the Museum!
