1000 NCM Deliveries for 2007 Model Year

Guy and Denise Arseneault came to the Museum to take delivery of their Atomic Orange Coupe today, but the trip turned out even more special for them as they are our 1000th delivery for the 2007 model year! “We had no idea that our delivery was number 1000 of the 2007 model year," the Arseneault's shared with us. "This is just the icing on the cake for us. What a great experience!”

The 12-year old program that began in September 1995 brings thousands of people to the home of the Corvette by offering new buyers the opportunity to pick up their new Corvette at the Museum, right across the street from where the car is built. We have delivered new Corvettes to buyers from nearly every state, including Alaska and Hawaii. Corvette buyers can order their new car through Chevrolet dealers across the United States, and may select option R8C – Corvette Museum Delivery as they select other options and features for their new car. The Museum Delivery program includes a personal VIP tour of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant, a detailed “hands on” Corvette introduction and feature demonstration by a trained delivery team member, a laser engraved plaque, a Museum Delivery door decal, and a one-year individual Museum membership. Museum deliveries are also viewed world-wide via our live webcams. Find out more about this unique experience by visiting our website at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/ncm_delivery/index.shtml or by calling our Delivery Team at: 1-800-205-4248

LeMans Pre Race Comments From Corvette Racing’s Johnny O

From Johnny O – “It’s what we think about during the winter when we’re training, and what everyone at Corvette Racing is always focusing on.  It’s the most important event of the year for us, and I think all you need to do is look at the team’s success, to see that we take it very seriously. This year could perhaps be our most difficult ever.  Not only will the factory Astons be there with a stronger package than what they had last year, but there will also be a few Saleens run by a very strong team that knows how to do well at Le Mans.” Read more at: http://www.johnnyoconnell.com/index.htm

Next Race: June 16-17, 24 Hours of Le Mans, Le Mans, France – SPEED TV.
