Sponsor a Fort Knox Wounded Warrior

As part of our Military Appreciation Month we have invited wounded warriors from the two nearby military bases, Fort Knox and Fort Campbell, for a day at the Museum and both have accepted our invitation! On Saturday, November 20 the National Corvette Museum will have 50-100 special guests at the Museum - wounded warriors from Fort Knox, Kentucky.  These guests will each have the opportunity to bring family members with them to enjoy the day.  To show our appreciation for their service, the Museum will be providing complimentary VIP guided tours, lunch in our Corvette Cafe, a $25 Corvette Store gift card and an ice cream treat.

If you would like to join us in thanking these military guests, you can help sponsor one or more wounded warriors for $50 each. Your contribution will be  considered a tax deductible donation to the Museum.  We will include a note in their gift cards to let them know that their visit was sponsored by you. Please make your donation online here and specify Warrior Care Month or by calling Connie at 800-538-3883 ext. 115. Thanks for helping us honor those who serve!

St. Louis Corvette Club Helps Veterans

As part of Military Appreciation Month, we're sharing stories from Corvette Clubs on how they recognize and honor veterans.

This week's story comes to us from Judy Dooley, NCM Ambassador for the St. Louis Corvette Club.

Our main charity is the Spinal Column Injury Unit at the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital in St. Louis.  We plant and maintain gardens each year which the patients and their families enjoy.  Picnics, Corvette shows and ward visits provide a welcome diversion.  STLCC purchases video and other equipment as needed. Phone cards and goodie bags help with the small necessities. A recent fund raiser netted over $8,000 to continue this support.

Each year STLCC drives the Gold Star Mothers and Dads in the annual Veterans Day Parade.  We maintain a  section on our website to help remember those who gave so much for our country.

If your club does something special for military, please reply to this email and tell us about it!

Breakfast with Santa

How would you like to have your picture made with Santa... and a red Corvette! Back by popular demand is our Breakfast with Santa event, Saturday, November 27 at 9am. We will have a hot buffet breakfast with biscuits, bacon, eggs, sausage, gravy, hash browns, scones, cinnamon rolls and fruit.

This year's event has a Nutcracker Winter Wonderland theme, complete with the IGA Land of Sweets where kids can scoop up their own treats to take home. We have lots of arts and crafts activities planned, and a ballet performance of the Nutcracker Suite by Western Kentucky University Dance students! Tickets are only $12 for adults and $8 for kids ages 1 -16. Reserve yours today by calling 800-538-3883.
