2006 Corvette Hall of Fame Inductees

Our 2006 Hall of Fame inductees will be selected this weekend as part of our 4th quarter NCM Board of Directors meeting.

Inductees are selected based on nomination information and materials provided to us by our membership base. The Corvette Hall of Fame was created by the National Corvette Museum Board of Directors in 1998, with the purpose to confer the highest honor and recognition upon the most influential individuals in the history of the Corvette. The award recognizes those people who have made significant contributions to their respective fields, each having reached the highest level of accomplishment. Inductees must also possess the highest standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of the Corvette and the National Corvette Museum. Our 2006 Corvette Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in “NCM eNews” and featured in our March/April issue of “ America’s Sports Car” magazine – so stay tuned.

NCM Ambassadors Wanted

Over 235 Corvette Clubs are part of the NCM Ambassador Program which was created to provide Corvette clubs/organizations and enthusiasts, a two way communication link to the NCM.

The Ambassador's mission is to share the Museum’s news and happenings to their local Corvette club/organization. Additionally, the Ambassador is the voice of his/her Corvette club/organization, and communicates concerns, ideas and suggestions to the Museum. NCM Ambassadors are an integral part of the NCM team and we invite you to select an Ambassador from your Corvette Club if you do not currently have one. NCM Ambassadors are rewarded through a “points program” that recognizes Ambassadors for their efforts, and also have the opportunity to order from a special line of merchandise available exclusively to Ambassadors. The person your Corvette Club selects must be an NCM member to be eligible. A listing of NCM Ambassadors, a downloadable application and other details are available online at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/ambassadors/index.shtml
