Corvette Club Pays Vet a Special Visit

As part of Military Appreciation Month, we'd like to share stories from Corvette Clubs on how they recognize and honor veterans.

This week's story comes to us from NCM Ambassador Barry Keohan of North Shore Corvettes of Massachusetts:

"Sunday, October 17 was our 'Fall Dust Off Cruise.' We went for breakfast in North Hampton, NH, then to a Vietnam Vet's house . He always wanted a Corvette. We brought Corvette related items for him and they were presented by a fellow Vet. Ed (the veteran) really thought it was great to visit him, as he knew part of the road was loose gravel. It was a great day for all!"

Barry said they were the second Corvette Club to pay Ed a visit this year! If you have a story to share, simply reply to this email and don't forget to include a photo!

TUESDAY NITE TRIVIA

This week's trivia question was: In honor of Military Appreciation Month, our November questions will have a military theme. What is the nickname for the C-141 Starlifter with tail number 60177, and what exhibit in the Museum is it tied to?

Congratulations to Larry Koncar of Lorain, OH. He correctly identified the C-141 as the Hanoi Taxi and the tie to the museum is a 1980 tribute Corvette by Maj. Richard "Bull" Webster. Larry scored a Corvette prize and passes to the museum!

You, too, can play Tuesday Nite Trivia by becoming a 'Fan' of NCM on Facebook!
