Another Excited Corvette Raffle Winner Takes Delivery

Millie Kiker of Indian Trail, NC was drawn as the winner of the LeMans Blue Coupe raffle last Friday.

Millie held the winning ticket – number 0223 and was undoubtedly the most excited raffle winner we have ever had the honor of contacting. “I don’t even have words to tell you how we feel – we are just over the moon!” Millie shared with us between laughter and tears. “We had just finished planning a May trip to Bowling Green days ago, and now here we are coming earlier because we have won. We just can’t believe it and are so thankful to win after going through such a hard year.” Millie and her husband Doug were still smiling today as they took delivery. Our raffles are not only amazing fundraisers for the Museum, but an opportunity of a lifetime! View other happy raffle winners here: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/raffle_winners/index.shtml

Master Building Plan

The master plan for the Museum's 50,000 square-foot expansion was unveiled at the annual Membership Meeting Labor Day Weekend 2006.

The expansion includes a library and archives, permanent Corvette Hall of Fame, a 75-seat Corvette Café, 400-seat Conference Center that can be divided into four classrooms, an expanded Corvette Store, additional space for the delivery cars to be prepped, additional storage and additional space for exhibits and displays. The needed expansion offers the ability to create educational exhibits and presentations, and enables the Museum to move forward toward the realization of the vision agreed on when the Museum was first established, enhancing the Museum as the gateway for all resources to the Corvette community. The Museum kicked off the initial building campaign to help fund the proposed expansion at the 50th Anniversary Celebration in June of 2003. To date, the building campaign stands at over $2.4 million in pledges and donations. With a goal of hosting a groundbreaking Labor Day Weekend 2007, additional contributions are crucial to determining the amount of square footage to include in the first phase of construction. We invite you to find out more about our building campaign plans by visiting our website at: http://store.corvettemuseum.com/services/building.asp Photos of the expansion plans and an Adobe flash player video is available via our website. Pledges and donations to the campaign can be made by clicking here: https://store.corvettemuseum.com/services/buildingform.asp or by calling us at: (800) 53-VETTE.
