2012 Offers a Great Event Lineup!

If you thought 2011 offered a great lineup of old favorites and new goodies, then 2012's offerings will really get you geared up!

We have two "Museum in Motion" tours scheduled so far, taking groups to the Sebring Corvette Racing event, with several cool stops leading up to the great opening race in March, and to the Woodward Dream Cruise for an awesome Cruise Tour in August. We also hit the road with the Kentucky State Police in October for our third annual 1-Lap event, this time with an "Artisans and Musicians" theme.

Back on the schedule is our C5/C6 Bash April 26-28, C4/ZR-1 Gathering May 17-19, Anniversary Celebration August 30-September 1 and Vets 'n Vettes November 1-3.

Those with a need for speed will notice we've moved Z06 Fest to June 6-9, and it now overlaps with NCM's newest event - Zpeed Fest (June 7-9) focusing on our "Z" Corvettes! We also have our popular HPDEs scheduled at VIR, Thunderhill and Autobahn.

Back on this year's calendar is the R8C Reunion right here in Bowling Green October 4-6, and we will hit the road September 26-29 with a Historic Motorama Reunion. Last but not least is another newbie - Barn Raising II co-hosted by Vette Barn May 24-26.

It's an exciting lineup... click here to view the calendar, and stay in touch here on eNews for all the big announcements!

Sponsor a Family for Breakfast with Santa

The holidays can be a tough time for some families, and this year the National Corvette Museum is working with the local Family Enrichment Center to make it a little brighter for about 13 families.

Our 3rd Annual Breakfast with Santa event is Saturday, November 26 at 9am and we are seeking sponsorships to bring children and their parents to the Museum for the breakfast. You can sponsor a family of four for only $40! Your sponsorship is considered a tax-deductible donation to the Museum. Sponsors will receive a card and photo from the event to thank them for their contributions.

To sponsor a family, click here and select Kidz Zone from the list at the top, and enter $40 in the blank next to "I am making a one-time gift of." We sincerely appreciate our Corvette family helping us give others a happy holiday!

There's Only One of Us!

The National Corvette Museum has been selected as one of Kentucky’s initial “Only Ones.” The new campaign is a marketing effort of the Kentucky Department of Travel and is based on the concept that Kentucky has numerous locations and attractions of which there is only one… things or places that travelers can experience in only one place – Kentucky.

The campaign will include tv, radio, online, social media and more. Next week, November 4, we will be featured on the Kentucky Travel Twitter contest.

Thanks for your support of the Home of Corvette!

Walk of Fame Bricks - A Holiday Gift to Remember

We all have that person on our holiday shopping list that is nearly impossible to buy for. We can make this year's gift giving process quick and painless with a Walk of Fame Brick!

The program provides enthusiasts with an engraved brick located within the walkways leading up to the Museum. We also offer hexagon bricks on the Corvette Boulevard within the Museum.

If you want a duplicate brick to give your friend or loved one in time for Christmas, deadline to order is November 18. Why wait? Browse your options and place your order online here!
