Corvette's newest addition

Congratulations 2007 Red Coupe Corvette Raffle Winner!

Our Labor Day raffle winner Dena Meeks made a visit to the Museum on Monday to take delivery of her new 2007 Red Coupe!

Dena and her family enjoyed not only their very first visit to the Museum, but the entire delivery experience as well. “This has just been wonderful – not only to win a new Corvette, but to pick it up at the Museum. We will definitely be back again soon,” they shared with us.

You too could be drawn as the winner of new Corvette by taking a chance online via our website or by calling us at: (800) 53-VETTE. A “Build Your Own” Coupe or Convertible raffle is underway now and the winner chooses the color and options from current model year Corvette selections – excluding the Z06 option. Tickets are only $100 each and only 2007 tickets will be sold! The winning ticket will be drawn on Friday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Corvette Plant’s 25th Anniversary Celebrated in Corvette Style

The past weekend was dedicated to celebrating the Corvette Assembly Plant’s 25th Anniversary and everyone enjoyed a full weekend of live entertainment, a parade, special displays, 50’s & 60’s blast from the past and other exciting activities.

We were excited to be a part of the fun and congratulate the plant on 25 years of building America’s sports car. Thanks to everyone who made a trip to Bowling Green to help us celebrate with our assembly plant family. Look for more information coming your way in our member magazine – “ America’s Sports Car”.

Hitting the 5000th Museum Delivery Mark

Mark and Chriss Mitcheck of Reno, Nevada took delivery of a 2007 Velocity Yellow Corvette at the Museum last week. When they ordered their new Corvette they almost decided to skip the Museum delivery they ordered as part of the options on their new car.

"We just felt that driving 2,500 miles was too far, but a friend told us that we just had to do it because the experience was unbelievable," Mark told us.
Once their delivery was scheduled, Gary Cockriel - R8C Museum Delivery Manager called to tell them that their delivery would be number 5,000. "Since 1996, we have delivered 5000 new Corvettes and the Mitcheck's delivery is a big milestone!" stated Gary. "It is hard to imagine that so many have participated in the program. It is truly amazing." There were 1,172 new Corvettes delivered at the Museum for the 2006 model year and the program continues to grow with approximately eight deliveries taking place each day. If you are considering purchasing a new Corvette – we invite you to find out more about the R8C Museum Delivery Program by clicking here: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/ncm_delivery/index.shtml or by calling (800) 205-4248. Our Museum deliveries are also viewable via our webcams at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/webcam/
