Clubs Making Special Visits

September and October are exciting months for Corvette club visits! We had the privilege of spending time with over 70 members of the San Jacinto Corvette Club this week who planned an outing with us that included tours of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant, road tour excursions, club brick and commemorative bench unveiling and dinner in the Museum’s skydome.

You can plan a visit for your club and arrange a day or weekend planned just for you by visiting our website at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/clubs or by calling us at: (800) 53-VETTE.
We welcome the following clubs making visits in September and October:

York County Corvette Club of Pennsylvania
Corvette Club of Rhode Island
Cedar Valley Corvette Club of Iowa
Corvette Club of Western PA
Foothills Corvette Club – North Carolina
South Central Indiana Corvette Club – Indiana
River Cities Corvette Club – Kentucky

Limited Slots Available for Driving School at Spring Mountain

On November 10th and 11th the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, NV will be the host site for the Museum’s 6th driving school – and a limited number of slots are open and won’t last long.

Our High Performance schools focus on handling and performance driving, and put safety first as part of the experience. Students will be assigned to run groups based on their level of experience, from totally new beginners to the very experienced advanced drivers. All participants will get a full two days of track experience, an event shirt, lanyard & credential and dinner on the first evening of the event. The cost to participate is $435 for NCM Members and non-members can participate for a fee of $485, which includes a one-year membership. Vets with Vettes Take the NCM Xperience

“Vets with Vettes” from Huntsville, Alabama is more than just a Corvette club, they are a group of over 120 members and veterans of the military service who stay on a mission of supporting their community and offering their services to charity organizations. Yesterday, this special group of enthusiasts shared the day with us by taking part in the Museum’s Xperience Program as a group.

“This was a great day and we all had a chance to be together to have six of our members in attendance experience the program. We were also able to surprise one of our member's parents with the delivery of a restored 1971 which became a very positively emotional moment for all those in attendance!” Thanks Vets with Vettes for sharing the day with us and for being a part of the Xperience Program. The NCM Xperience program is exclusive to the Corvette Museum and offers Corvette owners a special day at the Museum and a chance to have their Corvette on display in the delivery area following an exterior cleaning. Similar to the highly requested R8C Program, guests are given a VIP plant tour and Museum tour as part of the program, and are also given a one-year individual membership to the Museum, commemorative plaque, silver decal recognizing participation in the program, and an individual photograph in front of the Museum - weather permitting. Xperience deliveries can also be viewed world-wide via our webcams. Find out more about this special program and join us sometime soon! http://www.corvettemuseum.com/experience/index.shtml
