"Build Your Own" Coupe or Convertible Raffle Only 2,007 Tickets to be Sold

One Month Until our “Build Your Own” Raffle Drawing

In approximately one month, we will be drawing a winner for the “Build Your Own” Corvette Coupe or Convertible raffle!

Only 2,007 tickets are available on this exciting raffle that offers the winner a chance to “build it your way” and choose from current model year options and colors – excluding the Z06 option. Tickets are $100 each and the 1 in 2,007 odds make this a great opportunity to win a new Corvette. Our winner will be drawn on Friday, October 20 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Our Corvette raffles are a tremendous portion of our fundraising efforts and we have had the privilege to meet so many excited new Corvette owners thanks to these opportunities. View our past raffle winners here: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/raffle_winners/index.shtml Purchase your tickets online here: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/raffle/index.shtml or call us at: (800) 53-VETTE.

Corvette Buyers Tour Excitement Builds

The “Corvette Buyers Tour” option opened in late May, and since it began we have welcomed approximately 80 participants.

There are 15 participants for the month of September and we have begun booking into October. If you are purchasing a new Corvette, we invite you to be a part of the “Corvette Buyers” Tour available to new Corvette buyers!

This exciting tour is being offered in conjunction with the Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant, and offers a VIP journey through the Assembly Plant for you and up to 3 guests to experience the assembly of America’s Sports Car with your very own personal tour guide. Participants in the “Buyers Tour” may also be able to schedule their tour on the day their Corvette is being built. You might be able to “give birth” to your Corvette and start your Corvette’s engine for the very first time. Buyer’s Tour participants will also receive an in-depth 3-5 hour private tour. Find out more about this exclusive tour by visiting our website at: http://store.corvettemuseum.com/services/buyertour.asp or by calling our Museum Delivery Team at: (800) 205-4248.

GM Sales Initiative Update

A challenge of encouraging 100 people who currently own a non-GM vehicle (1996 MY or newer) to purchase any new GM Vehicle by December 31 was issued to us by a prominent member of the NCM who has had a long career at General Motors.

Meeting the challenge will result in a $25,000 donation to our building campaign. We announced the GM Sales Initiative several months ago and the response has really taken off. We have 33 confirmed purchases and 27 verbally committed through the program.

The buyer does not have to sell or trade-in his non-GM vehicle to qualify. The initial deadline date was August 31, but the program has been extended to December 31, in order for us to continue networking with Corvette clubs and members who are considering purchasing new Corvettes and other Chevrolet and GM products. We appreciate the support of everyone who is helping us reach our goal to obtain the funds for our building campaign. We hope you will continue to help us spread the word to your club members and fellow enthusiasts to reach 100! Find out more information by visiting our website at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/donations/sales.shtml or by contacting Connie Russell at: connie@corvettemuseum.com or (800) 53-VETTE.

2008 Corvette Quarterly “Ride and Drive” Auction Update

The auction for the memorable 2008 Corvette Quarterly “Ride and Drive” opportunity has closed with a final bid of $25,000 by NCM Member Jerry Britner.

Jerry will be part of the May 2007 ride and drive to coastal Maine and will be included as part of the fall 2007 cover story of Corvette Quarterly. “I am very excited to be a part of this and just felt I needed to step up after this opportunity was announced at the Lifetime Member dinner,” Jerry shared with us. “The proceeds from this auction benefit the Museum’s building campaign and it made sense to do my part now to help move it along.” Jerry will be photographed and interviewed along with ride and drive team members: Tom Wallace - Corvette VLE, Tadge Juechter - Chief Engineer, Gary Claudio - Corvette Marketing Manager, Harlan Charles - Corvette Product Manager, Wendell Strode - NCM Executive Director, Jerry Burton - Corvette Quarterly Editor and Todd Kraemer - Corvette Quarterly Art Director. Congratulations Jerry – we look forward to hearing more about your experience! We appreciate the generosity of Chevrolet and Corvette Quarterly for making this auction possible.
