Autobahn High Performance Driving Event

Join us for an NCM Benefit conducted by Hooked on Driving Great Lakes Chapter at the Autobahn Country Club on Monday, October 4 th. This will be a unique opportunity to run the combined full circuit at Autobahn a 3.1 mile course with 21 corners. Those familiar with NCM HPDE schools will find the format familiar with instructors/coaches in student cars, mandatory classroom and plenty of run time. Advanced students will have the opportunity to get coaching from pro-drivers.

The event fee for students is $295 and includes lunch. Guests are welcome and their lunch fee is $15. A few spots remain! Check it out here.

Special Edition Grand Sport Raffle Soon!

Next week we raffle off the chance to Build Your Own Z06 or Grand Sport with $60,000 Cash Option! Tickets are $400, limited to 500 tickets.

Then, October 10 in Lexington, Kentucky we draw a winner for our 2010 'Special Edition' Crystal Red Grand Sport Convertible! The car is VIN 14 and features a special "one off" centerstack, unique center console leather wrap, one-off sill plates, stitching accents on the center armrest, special rear badge and more! New Etched Window Stickers Offered

Now available through the Library and Archives - a laser etched window sticker which comes with a laminated paper reproduction of your window sticker! A copy of your car's window sticker can be etched into alder wood and is available for most Corvettes produced from 1981 to present. The finished piece is 8” x 10” and can either be hung on the wall or set on your desk or bookcase.

The final round of voting for the second fan-elected award in the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón is now under way! Cast your vote today for the 2010 Most Popular Driver award with voting on-going between now and 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 26 - coinciding with the start of raceweek for the 13th annual Petit Le Mans powered by MAZDA 2.

You can vote once every five hours! Corvette Racing has two drivers on the poll: Johnny O'Connell and Jan Magnussen. Vote now!

Hall of Fame Nominations Due Next Week

The National Corvette Museum is now accepting applications for the 2011 Corvette Hall of Fame. Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2010. Any NCM Member can submit a nomination. Current board members and NCM staff are not eligible to be nominated. Qualified nominations are good through a three-year period.
