National Corvette Museum 20th Anniversary Celebration

National Corvette Museum 20th Anniversary Celebration
and 5th National Corvette Caravan - August 27 - 30, 2014

Celebrating 20 years of growth and changes, the Museum's Anniversary will be celebrated with the arrival of the National Corvette Caravans and their participants from around the globe.

Unite with friends, family and enthusiasts in Bowling Green, Kentucky for a look back at the Museum's history and help us usher in the future with the grand opening of the NCM Motorsports Park!

Event pre-registration closes on Monday, July 21 and all activities are open to event registrants only. Those pre-registered will receive a personalized event credential, lanyard, event pin and dash plaque.

Lifetime Members: Free
Members: $15 per person
Non-Members: $25 per person

If you would like to "arrive in style" consider joining a Caravan for fun along the way! More information on what the caravans are, activities planned and how to join is available at www.nationalcorvettecaravan.com. Cost to register for a caravan is $5 per person.

Motorsports Park Activities
Join us for the Grand Opening of the NCM Motorsports Park on Thursday, August 28 at 9am CT! The facility offers both an autocross/skid pad area and road course. Activities that will be offered during the festivities include:

  • Chevrolet Ride and Drive: Test drive GM vehicles on the track and get free rides in a new Stingray
  • Hot Laps: Ride with a VIP in your Corvette (Museum fundraiser, $50)
  • Parade Laps: Drive your own Corvette around the road course
  • Seminars by Andy Pilgrim, Doug Fehan and Jim Mero

Road Tours
There's lots to see and do in our neck of the woods, so we've put together a few guided and unguided road tours that you can do with some friends, your club, or by yourself!

  • Guided Road Tours: Offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday and designed for people not traveling with a group who would like to make new friends! Sign up for the road tour of your choice at the Museum upon arrival. $5 per car fee.
  • Unguided Road Tours: Adventure awaits the scenic byways of Kentucky and Tennessee! We have a number of scenic drives, trips with a lunch stop, and suggested itineraries with an attraction and meal.

Special Exhibits
The Messner Collection: Display featuring a collection of rare, pristine and low mile Corvettes gifted to the Museum by Donald Messner.

"The Great 8" Sinkhole Corvettes: An exhibit featuring the Corvettes that fell victim to the Museum's sinkhole and information surrounding this act of Mother Nature.

RESERVED PARKING AVAILABLE

As a fundraiser for the Museum we have a limited number of paved parking spots available, which can be reserved for a donation of $500 per spot. This program guarantees you your own numbered spot from Wed. - Sat. of the event. It also allows you to come and go as you please with your spot being saved the whole time. The $500 counts towards your annual giving and Winner's Circle status, and is tax deductible.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

In addition to offering paved, grass and gravel parking at the Museum and Motorsports Park, we will also be offering a shuttle service for those who would like to catch a ride from area hotels or Greenwood Mall.
