Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I had a meeting in Nashville, TN today (dang this hotel wi-fi is slow!!!). I drove down this morning, leaving Indy around 4am.
As I drove down through the rain, I passed a familiar sight going through Bowling Green - first the facory, then the museum. As I passed, I put my hand over my heart and said:
I pledge allegiance to the Plant
That makes the Sports Car of America
And to the Museum
Next to which it stands
One Car, Under Crossed Flags
With Fiberglass and Horsepower for all
Hopefully tomorrow on my way back, I can take the factory tour....
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
