The 2014 Corvette Caravan, 20th anniversary of museum, is set to begin at Corvettes at Carlisle. This only happens every 5 years. There are a couple groups leaving on Sunday after Carlisle is finished. Are there any C3VR folks planning on attending? The New Jersey Team has a great trip planned. It is just under one year away, but plans should be made quickly as all accommidations and details need to be arranged. See the National Corvette Museum site for registration.

Well, looks like I'll be making a longer trip next year! Woohoo!

Dave C..........My mantra: I can not be bought!! Long and short term leases available.

I will definitely be at the Museum for this event, but I am not sure I want to spend nearly two weeks doing it.
Also, I liked staying in Cave City last time (2009). It was far enough away from the crowds, but not that bad of a drive to the NCM.
I might camp at Mammoth Cave Park this time.
I will probably meet up with the NJ-NY-PA caravans as they enter Bowling Green on Wednesday.
Or maybe just go on Thursday and come home on Monday.
The other fact that I need to keep in mind is our wedding anniversary is 9/3.

Of course, if you buy the Mrs. a Corvette for your anniversary I'm sure a longer trip wouldn't be much of an imposition!

Seeing this is only the 3rd time since 94 that I have not been there for Labor Day I am sure I will be there next year. I am just not sure I will be part of any caravans.
I can not commit to that much time so I will probably drive down on Thursday.

Lots of time to think, any other input? Meet at Carlisle and travel as a C3VR group.
The NY-PA caravan will be leaving Carlisle on Sunday, August 24th.
They will arrive at the NCM on Wednesday, 9/27 around 1:00 PM.
I can leave Wed. morning and arrive Wed. evening.
Tuff decision. What to do?
