I was thinking of doing one or two. Maybe head out on my own. Anyone interested or have a good idea as this will be the first time I'll be in this area?

Dave, not sure about what area. I would like to see some of Mammoth Cave. My daughter suggested we not take a long one so that we can enjoy more of the Museum as it is our first trip. I expect we will be in line for various test drives and such as well.
We will be staying in Scottsville.

I am staying at the Mammoth Caves Campground and I hope to take a tour of the caves.
The road trips that the NCM lead usually fill up fast and they limit them to about 20 cars.
They have detailed printouts of small (50-100 miles) road trips if you want to see the countryside and visit points of interest.
We could meet at the museum one morning and look at the choices.
I didn't sign up for a plant tour, but I might go over there Thursday morning to see if I can sneak in.
Figure on a couple of hours to tour the museum.

I am expecting to do road trips, take in a ballgame, eat pizza, and do the bourbon tour. maybe we can do some quick planning at the pizza dinner.

That sounds good...both of you. Dave I heard that the tours were sold out but you know people are going to miss there time slot. I would think you'd sneak in. Let me know when you're doing the cave tour. The only side trip my daughter and I have planned is going to the Cincinnati Zoo on the 26th. Our Caravan leader id going to try to get us an early track time so we can head up after or we may just stick around and watch others take their turn.
