I sure remember going with my dad and later by myself just to see what was new. I guess we just did not have enough to do. Now there is so much we just do not take the time.

Yes, being a young lad in Detroit, I remember cruising the cars lots with my dad looking at the covered cars in locked lots until the day the mfg gave the dealers permission to unveil them. We were looking at a new 641/2 Mustang but dad ended up with a 64 Impala SS one year. It was first time he did not trade for another convertible.

Sure brings back some good memories. My second car I owned was a 57 Chevy which I loved. In fact, I met my wife when I had that car and still kid her by saying that 57 was why she started dating me. Lots of nice cars... only no Corvettes.
