So mom lost her key. Her boyfriend's dog chewed up the other key so that it won't remotely unlock the car doors. It will unlock the trunk, start the car and unlock the door, manually but then the alarm goes off until she starts it. Chrysler wants about $300 for a new key. Anyone know of a work around for this?
Thanks

Check for a new fob on fleabay, then get it programmed.
What year model is it? I can check and see what the programming entails. Might be able to do it with no special tools(scanner).

Well, I found her key. She has a 2007 and was told she would need 2 keys that still worked so she could follow the reprogramming procedure listed in her manual. Keys on ebay were $30. Reprogramming was $175.
