Looking for a nice, early (mid-late '80s) Goldwing, preferably a dresser, preferably red/burgundy, or white, but other colors considered. Must be in good condition, with verifiable service records, and fairly low mileage(up to 60,000 considered).

I know C3VR prolly ain't the best place to find one, but Imma gonna put it out there, just in case. I have found the exact ride I'm looking for in Austin, for a really sweet price... It's almost a clone of the '75 'Wing I had way back when, and dressed exactly like the '76 750 automatic I had in the early '80s. Oh...the nostalgia...

I'd like to find something close to me here in Dallas, but I'll consider just aboot anything, if the price be right! Adams' Apple2008-05-18 15:47:41

I will keep a look out for ya Joel. I do a LOT of wheeling and dealing with bikes. The owner of the Honda store here is a really good friend of mine. He travels the country and finds some of the cleanest vintage stuff I have ever seen. I'll let you know if I find anything that meets your description.

Just picked up a Triumph Trophy with hard bags and trunk.  No pics yet.  Pretty sweet ride but different from a Gold Wing.

 Good luck wid dat. After I backed my '81 out of the shop and washed it up after four years, it tweren't lookin half bad. Kinda gave me the ole ridin twinge again. Might just get it fixed an RIDE! That's classic for multi carb bikes that have been stored Dwain. If you can remove those carbs one at a time and clean all the air and fuel passages while trying to preserve the throttling adjustments as much as possible (of course there are many styles of carbs over the years ) that usually clears it....Good luck.
