Thanks Bruce.
Actually, i'm happy with the present bid. The car is a great candidate for restoration.
Micki....You remind me of my daughter. She wants everything she sees.

Brings back memories, sort of... My first car was a '62 chevy....Belaire, four door, six cyl., three speed on the column. BUT MAN, did I have some fun in that back seat with some Kilgore Rangerettes
Looks great. Your description doesn't sound like it does it justice. Nice

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

My first car was a '62 Bel Air as well...station wagon. No seat belts, 283, PowerGlide, recap tires.
My high school friends all laughed at the car and said it looked like it had leprosy because of the different shades of touch up paint over it. I laughed back at them...I was driving a car...they were still on bicycles!

My reaction exactly. They said ,"where'd you git that thang?" And, I said "wanna ride?". They took it.

Thanks Dwain. My wife says the description is a novel. My friend described it as a thesis. All I'm concerned with is the high bidder being happy with the car when he gets it. My integrity is certainly worth more than a few hundred dollars to me.
If all the new cars had a back seat like this Impala, the pregnancy rate would probably jump about 15%.

Can you guys tell me what's going on here. The car is almost $2000 over the reserve and there's 3 1/2 days to go.

The guys who bid $8250 came and looked at the car. He has 5 just like this one and I would think he would know the value of the car.
The high bidder at $8350 is a dealer in Va. I thought the car "might" go $7500 tops. What do you guys think?

I sold a old pontoon on e-bay and we were hoping for 100.00 It sold for 815.00 and the guy came from Wisconsin to pick it up. Hold on it may get better for you yet.

I just can't believe this. The car is at $10,109.
