A buddy has told me of a '59 MGA for sale. The car is located in Glouscester, VA...the Tidewater area.
From what he told me, the car is complete and overall good shape but the body is stripped. It has original wire wheels.
The owner is an elderly man who is a body and paint man, originally bought the car to rebuild for fun in his retirement and has gotten as far as stripping the body. He has found out he needs some kind of medical procedure or surgery, and since he doesn't have health insurance, will need to sell the car to raise the funds.
That's all I know about the car...I have no idea of asking price, etc. If anyone here is interested or knows someone who is, send me a PM and I'll get the contact information to you.
If someone here likes the challenge of Lucas electrics and positive ground (my buddy says it's called positive "earth"), this might be a good car for you.

I had TWO '58 MGAs a long time ago. One, I installed a 350 Chebby, and a Corvette rear into. That was the FIRST of my race cars named "Adams' Apple"!! The other MGA was just more or less a parts car. Aluminumin bodies, light weight, and definitely sucky 'lectrics! Wish I had room for another vehicle....

Is there an MG site he could post it on? Seems like that would get more response.
