Two Post 220V (not 3 phase) electric lift 8,000 lb capacity for sale, $1,000. This lift was made in Italy in the early 80's and operates with large screws in each post with the gear driven crossover mechanism on the floor. The posts are 9' tall and will lift a car high enough to walk or park under it. It works well for C-3's and earlier as well as small U.S. and foreign cars. It does not work well with trucks and wider cars. Will deliver for actual both way expenses and assist with set up.
I can send pictures to anyone who asks and will post to this thread if someone will tell me how to do it.

You just can't beat it when a guy shows up when he said he would. Then Big Fish and I put the rascal in the back of his suburban. The 2500 suburban squatted. Sure hope there is someone there to help him get it out.

You guys would have to see it to believe it. Ken and his wife practically shoved me out of the way during the loading process, and then fed me lunch before letting me go. These are some really nice people, have to be among Kentucky's finest. Thanks Ken for everything, I'm sure our paths will cross again.
That bar across the top of the lift is not uncommon. The advantage is it frees up the floor space, instead of having a large luimp across the bottom. Some have both. You should be able to set an upper travel limit to prevent damage to all but trucks and vans.
