I already made my reservations for this event...
But wondering if anyone else is going OR if anyone else has EVER gone...
Its a good 1000 mile round trip for me and was wondering just how cold it gets in early Sept in the Mountians...light weight jackets or parkas?

Ooh The Adirondaks. What a wonderful drive. In September sometimes there is whats called Indian Summer. Where the weather is awsome. The leaves dont start to change till I think October. Be ready for just about any weather.

I go camping/hiking in the Adirondacks every fall. Usually around Sept. 21. It can be frosty in the morning and evening.
Bring a light jacket or sweater, rain coat, winter parka, sunscreen, shorts, winter boots, sandals and your camera.
Depending on the elevation and area, you will see good fall colors.
Wish I could join you, but vacation time is all used up.
Have fun.

This is my first time to this event. I heard from some that have gone in the past that it is a very good show and great time. I also was told that there is a large gathering in town of muscle cars and street rods. Does anyone out there have any first hand info? Can't drive my C3 yet, have to take my C4.

Have no fear my wife and I are not taking a C3 either....prefer to
do the drive in 2 days and ridding in a car (my C5) that can support our
old rear ends in a little softer fashion lol
This will be my first time at this event also ..and are staying at the Roaring Springs Resort ... BUT I talked to a guy and his wife from Albany NY at Carlisle that goes to the "WEEKEND" every year BUT does not register all he could say that he loves going to see CARS...Nice Cars...Neat Cars.. etc..... The main draw that weekend is the Street Rods .... The Corvette weekend thing is a separate part of the entire weekend. but everything blends together for everyone who enjoys cars...
Honestly this is fine with me... ONLY bad thing is I understand there is a Local Outlet Mall which may grab my wives attention ... how she will get to the Mall is up to her to figure out...LOL
Make sure we meet up there ..I'm driving a Silver C5 Ragtop with a Black ass end black out on the rear deck just above the Exhaust. with Maryland Plates...front and rear.
