Well I can not help but put my C3 family first in front of the Vette Show!
We finally have had a bit of rain to make things green again, grass was starting to look like "War bonnett Yellow"

Working on menu, one night will for sure be a dry rub beef brisket slow and low on the Weber. The girls want a certain local grilled chicken dish also (Thoracian Chicken), and my girls always get their way Wink
(also some non spicy tofu for Dave, and some fresh veggies for Frank)

8 Days.....

OMG - I can't wait!  All this talk of food & fun!
Al - Here's our current plan - leave Frank's work @ 2:30 & head up.  This is an hour earlier than last year, so hopefully we'll get there B4 dark(hopefully we won't miss the cutoff b4 Syracuse again LOL).  Bringing the Road Whale & the Vette, not sure about Bear yet....
Due to an unforseen change in our last outing, Frank now has off on Monday (Yeah!) so we won't be exiting Eboland until sometime Monday AM, so we'll get to enjoy Sunday evening with everyone!
I'll bring some scrapple, fresh eggs & Amish baked goodies from Kings Farm again for all to enjoy.  Any spice requests?  I can make a Penzeys run before I come, if you needWink.  Can't wait to see everyone!
Dreamin about Chillin & Grillin in Eboland!

Barb, that is great news about having Monday off! I love those spices and have a few favorites, they are holding up well.
Scrapple yeah!
I talked to my butcher last night and he is going to custom cut me a brisket as large as he can, we will throw that on the Weber and let er cook low in slow for 6-8 hours, salt taters, fresh sweet corn, and now that we have an Amish farm just around the corner we will get some fresh picked veggies and grill them up with some penzeys spices. Pool is in the upper 80*

I will have the campsite ready for the whale! So will it be Thursday night ? ....say yes....

Yes - we are heading up on Thursday ...I forgot to put that in my post.  Hope to be there by 8:30...right about dusk.  That gives us the FULL 3 day Eboland experience.  Hope coming in Thurs night at that time doesn't crimp any plans already in place.  Tell Lori & kid we'll see you in a week!!

Mmmmmmmmmm.....brisket...............

Ebo, We are IN!
Things worked out so we can get away. Plan is to head to Bennington, Vermont for the Hemmings Motor News cruise night on Thursday. And then off to Eboland Friday morning. About 130 miles from Bennington. We'll have the motorhome with Pace Car in tow.
