This was a great event, had an excellent time.    The cruise to
Lake Placid and the top of Whiteface were the views are spectacular.
Approximatly 45 vettes did this ride. It was great seeing nothing but
vettes for as far as the eye could see on those mountian roads. And to
top it off with the Hot Rod Nationals were an added bonus. Nothing but
tons of vettes, some that were really modified with blowers poping
through the hoods.

Here are just a few photo's of I didn't get many of the cruise, was a
little busy6 just taking it all in. But there are a few, we didn't take our C3,
we took our 50th Annie for this one. Sunday was Show and Shine so I
have a few of that part of the event also.

DAMN Ammo6 where the hell were you when I asked about this event a few months ago....???????

I live about 450-500 miles from the "host" resort and was interested in driving up (not in any of my C3's however)...

How were the accomidations?   The Food ?   <<< Wife really wants to
know....   I wanted to know how the personal stuff went...(like Bullsh*t sessions and bending elbows with a bunch of Vette owners )

From your brief message I think I should have gone and taken a chance on having a good time... the drive up and back would just be a bonus...

Thanks
Bob

The accomadations were great. We didn't stay there this year. But have
in the past. The autocross was a blast for those who did it, and the
Whiteface/Lake Placid tour was, what can I say Fantastic!!!!! Show and
Shine was great on Sunday, the person who won the furthest distance
trophy traveled only 250 miles to get there. However, there were others
who traveled further, however, they left early Sunday morning. Friday
night was a cruise into Lake George, were you got to sit by your Vette and
watch the parade of Hot Rods go by, Very nice, Saturday was a perfect day
also weather wise and the cruise was so nice, even the Lake Placid police
made sure we didn't get seperated by stopping all traffic for us at the only
two traffic lights they have in town. Lunch was provided by the Hilton
Resort in Lake Placid (Cost $10.00 per person). The views on top of the
moutain were spectacular.   Saturday evening was a comedy show (this
was the only down, the club us unprepared for the amount of profanity he
used) but the food and and the people were GREAT!!!! Sunday was show
and shine, it was nice to see all of the C1 thru C6's getting ready for the
show. Lots of Trophies were given out, plus goodie bags and raffles.
Was another great day. To top it off some also went to the Hot Rod
Nationals down in Lake George, only 4 miles away, Saturday eve to see all
of the other great cars and rods. Our fun meter got broke and its going
to be a few days before any of can get these smiles off our faces.
However, don't worry, there is next year. Same time, same place, just
some of the events will change a little.
