With my hotel troubles aside, I had a good time at Carlisle. Here's a short review:
Friday was REALLY HOT! It was about 90 degrees with a ton of humidity. Activity at the C3VR Tent (see pictures below) in the swap meet area was pretty slow. A handful of current C3VR members stopped by to say hi. Christine brought the "C3VR Members Here in Spirit" Collage (see pictures below) that she made, and it was displayed with pride! The special C3VR parking area had about a dozen C3s in it. It rain a couple times for a few minutes late in the afternoon.
Saturday was perfect! It go up to only 80 degrees and there was no humidity to speak of. It was VERY busy. The C3VR Tent had a lot of activity. Some more C3VR members stopped by the tent to say hi. Many spectators stopped by just to view the C3VR Member Collage. The special C3VR parking area again had about a dozen C3s in it (see pictures below). No rain at all!
Sunday again was perfect weather. However, it was REALLY slow. Not too many people stopped by.
Overall, the show was just as it was last year... a ton of vendors to visit and lot and lots of Vettes to see.

*Sniff* Wish I was there. I'm from Hazleton, PA and Carlisle was something I went too all the time since I was 15, but alas the Marine Corps has put me in the middle of the desert in 29 Palms, CA....

There was only one that was linked wrong, that I just fixed. But the rest of them, when clicked on, should take you to an 800x600ish version of the thumbnail. The link should be to a photo that starts "sm_" while the thumbs start "th_".

There is no Spring Corvettes at Carlisle. So my vote would be Fall.

You are correct Sir! I had the 'Spring Carlisle - Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral' confused with Corvettes, so fall it is!
btw - Carlisle Events has it all regarding what's happening there.

Has anybody seen or heard what the attendance was, especially on Saturday? I heard they stopped letting cars into the Fun Display.
Also, can anyone confirm the news I heard at our club meeting three days later that the 1978 Pace Car that was a "No Sale" at the auction (for $35,000) was later sold in a private deal for $12,000?
It had five (!) miles on it and had the plastic on the seats.
