Skyline Drive Corvettes is hosting a "Fall Fling at Hooters" on Sunday, November 10 from 10 am till 3 pm at the Reading Hooters. So far, it is a 'display' open to all Corvette years with dash plaques to the first 80 Vettes. Admission free. However, if Budweiser comes through, it may be a participant judged event with 1st and 2nd place trophies in 7 Corvette year categories. Stay tuned. 50-50 tickets to support the Fire Tower Restoration Project with Pagoda-Skyline, Inc.

Hooters is now going to provide 1st and 2nd place trophies for this show in 7 Corvette year classes: 1953-1962; 1963-1967; 1968-1973; 1974-1982; 1984-1990; 1991-1996; 1997-2003. This will be participant judging. The Hooters girls will also award a 'Best of Show' trophy and award prizes to their favorite Vettes such as t-shirts, license plates, whatever. Budweiser will also be giving away some prizes. Dash plaques to the first 80 Vettes. Hooters will have food specials for participants. Admission free. 50-50 tickets to support Pagoda-Skyline, Inc. charity.

Does anybody have directions to Hooters ??? Me, Glenns, and 69myway will be travelling West on Route 422 (from Pottstown area). If anyone wants to caravan up with us, the three of us will most likely meet at the Coventry Mall (Routes 422 & 724) outside the Sears entrance around 12:15 - 12:30 on Sunday and then head up to Hooters. The Hooters of Reading is located in a strip mall across from the Fairgrounds Square Mall, just north of Reading. From King of Prussia/Pottstown area. . take 422 West to Reading. Take Route 12 (heading past Stoudt Auto Sales - Corvettes) for a few miles, then Business Route 222 North towards Allentown. Hooters is located on the right hand side after 6 or 7 traffic lights. You'll see the Hooters sign. There's a Wendy's there too. . .and an Arby's across the street to watch for.

Thanks for the directions. The last weather forecast I saw said partly sunny and 68 degrees ... definitely top down weather. We should get to Hooters around 1:00 PM. See you there !!

Jimmy, where are you going to start in the Pottstown area?

We are going to meet at the Sears entrance to the Coventry Mall. Sears has only 2 doors entering the Mall. We will have 3 red convertibles parked right next to the door by the automotive garage area ... you won't be able to miss us. The Mall is on Route 724, just South of the intersection of Route 100 and Route 422. It will give us easy access to Route 422 ... that will take us into the Reading area. We will meet there between 12:15 and 12:30. Hope to see you there.

Jimmy, sorry I couldn't hook up with you guys on Sunday. Unforseen "events" did not allow me to atend. Maybe next time.
