Hello all! |wave|

The dates for Corvettes at Carlisle 2002 have been announced. For more info, you can click the "Vette Events" button on the menu at the top of any C3VR page.

C3VR plans to be a sponsor of the event and would like to know how many of you plan to go, and how many days you plan to spend there.

So, what's your plan?

Adam,
A couple of buddies of mine and I go every year. One of my friends lives in Hazleton, PA and we stay there Thursday night. We go to the show Friday and Saturday and stay at a local (sorta) hotel. We leave early Sunday morning for the trip back home.

My wife and I made it out there for the first day. We drove the white princess from Pittsburgh!!! What a blast. 'It's not the destination, its the journey' |grin|
Hope to make it at least one day this year.

Vette(s): 1976 bright yellow T-Top purchased new 6/76. For many years I had an '81 daily driver but sold it several years ago for a front drive ricer. Now the Mrs. has a '95 coup & I still have the '76.
Chip Miller, co-owner of Carlisle Productions is a former member & now an honorary member of the Corvette Club of Delaware Valley. He used to live in Huntingdon Valley, a suburb of Phila. before he moved out to Carlisle. He's a great guy!
Carlisle is only about 2 & 1/2 hrs. from Phila. As Pres. of CCDV the past 2 yrs & because we provide a healthy donation to the charity of their choice, I was invited to the Celebrity Luncheons. It was a real thrill to meet so many of the true Vette dignataries who are there. Attending Carlisle is a must for every Vette lover!!

Hi There!

My husband and I attend every year! We arrive on Thursday and stay through Sunday afternoon (unless the weather is questionable on Sunday - then we leave Sunday morning). |rollysmile|

Vette(s): 1971 Conv. Red/Red with White top. Base 350, 4 speed, PS/PB, AC, Tilt/Tel, Hard Top. Factory Side Pipes. ( I know its not stock, but I always wanted a car with side pipes)
I will try to make it this year. My question to anyone who's made out there before...Is there anything for the wife and maybe a 13 year old girl to do. They like Vettes, just not a whole day or two worth.

Thanks

Tony

My wife and I started going two years ago. We travel back and forth to home
every night about a 90 minute trip. Someone asked if there was stuff for the ladies to
do. The was a fashion show, lots of jewelry and other things ot look at.
I think this year I will spend my time back and forth between the C3Vr and
my club, Keystone State Corvette Club. We have 9 spaces just past the
grand stand. Hope to see you all there. Mabey I'll have the new 454 in the
Vette by then. It will get there one way or the other.
