Like a peanuts cartoon it started out a Dark & Dreary morning for Mrs Tux and I as we left Indiana behind. 50 mi into our daytrip we found buckeye fog (Ohio version of the peasoup stuff)and I trudged on. 100 mi out we were in the clear for what looked to be a beautiful day. At one point I asked my wife, "how we doin hun" she said "your doin great we have only gotten lost once!" Fortunitly it was truly a MapQuest error so she forgave me.

This day was to be spent with old friends GreyPoupon69 (Micki & Dave), Kstyer (chief automobile guru Ken), Great Pumpkin (Mike & Terri) and meeting a new friend Captain Bill (Bill).

Some of us early arrivers met and went to lunch at the BK Drive-in. We chowed down on local delicacies like Chili Dawgz, Kraut Dawgz, and oh yes Dave ate the kitchen sink! While Micki ate her 1st Krautball. Yum Yum.

For desert only the best for us, a round of Tally Ho's for everyone. Naturally when eating food you think of food so decided a gameplan for supper.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, off to the Sam's Club we go... While Micki stayed in the lot to stand gaurd of her highly sought after FORD van we continued forward on our quest for more fixins. You know even in Sam Walton's vast empire we could not find all what Dave would need to prepare a feast for our hungry travelers. So, once again we were off to yet another local supermarket for the remaining necessities.

Upon our return Dave began preparing the feast as others shared C3VR stories and talk in general about what else you might ask? Vettes.

Since 3 of us attending have C5's we mulled around Mike & my C5's talking about such things as wax,top cleaner and oh yes the hood.

It seems Micki has made a starting observation. It is of her belief that the hood on the C5 resembles er a well a ..... buttcrack.... geez I thought I had heard just about everything and then this!

Well, Geez Louise, if that wasn't bad enough Micki had to go and let's it slip out to my wife that I've been lookin at new high rise hoods.

Thnxz Micki... luv ya girl!

We also admired Ken & Bills C3's from the Zip Ties to the Zippity Do Dah 427 badges you can't overshadow the passion behind these cars or within their owners.

Dave's Diner was finally open and ready. We proceeded to have a great meal of hamburgers, brats, homemade potatoe salad, and yes .... Terri's made from scratch Brownies.

We were entertained by each other as well as Micki & Dave's kids. They were runnin around all over the place. They was naked and just a beggin for food but pretty well behaved considering they are a cute lot of dogs.

After dinner we again shared quality time with each other tellin stories about our kidz or our vettes or how not to drag race with Ken!

Micki rounded the afternoon out by doing caricatures of those there. All of this having been said it was a great day! Cuyahoga Waterworks Park is a beautiful place and I hope that there will be a Cuyahoga get together in 08.

THNXZ TO ALL WHO CAME IT WAS AWESOME AND A PLEASURE TO SHARE AND BE WITH YOU!!! Tux...

PS. No Matter what Anybody else here tells ya this here be the truth... That's my story an I'm stickin to it!
