Dave Wright and I will be taking the back roads thru the Adirondak mountains on Friday. If any one wants to join us I'm just off the Utica exit on I 90.

 The trees are changin fast. Get yer sweater out the RUN is gonna be FUN. If you have not made plans yet, GET TO IT.  The more the merrier.

This mornings news said Lake Placid area is nearing peak for color and Catskills close behind. Looks like we nailed this date. I hate to talk about weather so early in the game......but it may be a "Lukes BBQ" repeat.............

I'm actually heading up to the High Peaks tomorrow for a weekend of hiking in the Adirondacks.

 IF it is a repeat of the BBQ week-end, PLAN on a fantastic time.  The weather was wonderful and the event was worth the trip. The only lean-to we had there was when we took the photo for the group and  IRON 82 said get in closer, LEAN in so I can get you all in the shot. 

If next weekend is half as nice as yesterday, we will have a grand time.

We will be meeting KDADDY79, Kevin, for lunch on the way up there. Meeting him at New Patlz,exit 18 on the NY Thruway, at noon on Friday. It's about 2 hours from there to Lake George so we should be at the motel around 3pm.

I plan to drive up to my house in the Poconos on Thursday then on up to Lake George Friday in the Vette.  I won't be towing, so Adam needs to know if he brings his vette he might have an opportunity to view nature up close and kiinda personal ~ while walking back to PA.  The route from north east of Scranton is east on 84 then north in New York.  Not sure about what route you are speaking, EBO.  But I will make sure Patricia is up and has had breakfast before starting the car!!

Will check the map and see where that puts me.  Gotta have breakfast for Patricia, ya know.  Get back to you as soon as I can.
