Not sure how many C3VR folks were able to make the Skyline cruise yesterday, and I'm sure those that did will agree... it was a great fun filled day.
Over 150 Vettes of all generations. The scenery was great. The drive was great. The weather was great. The people were great. The cars were great. It was just plain out and out positively absolutely GREAT.
A special thanks to Jim (Red71Shark) for putting this together for us and to Mike (Iron82) and all the others that helped him.

Thanks for showing up Roger.

I help out in anyway possible and do my best in keeping everyone happy.

This event is another one I do year round. I even do the Spring Cruise also.
Jim does an outstanding job on this event. This Cruise was the mother of all highest turnout of vettes known. Most of the time it rains or overcast. Which leads to a small turn out. Or the worst is snow and or heavy fog. Yes, the event still went on... COOL....
I had a wonderful time and took photo's and video on this. I'll post later in the week. Very Cool....
Speacial Thanks for the volenteers and to the people that showed up...

THANKS

Thanks for coming Roger! Here are the final stats:
150 Vettes.
We raised $1,218.00 for Toys for Tots.
We filled to overflow, four Toys for Tots collection boxes.
We collected through a raffle, $314.00 that was split 50/50 with the Young Marines and the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
We fed 215 people at Brookside.
This was the absolute, without a doubt, no questions asked, best weather we've ever had for a fall cruise!
We had at least 6 cars photographed as feature cars for Corvette Enthusiast magazine and our very own IRON82 was one of them!

Special thanks to Mike (IRON82) for doing a spectacular job of parking 118 Corvettes on a 100 car lot...
Hope to see you guys in the spring! (April 30, 2005)
