hey guys- i am looking to form a very casual cruise from north jersey (lincoln park) to take a ride down to sandy hook to the state park there, then on to the local clam shack for some seafood and a couple of beers. so far i have myself, and a 96 vette going down with me.  im aware there is a BBQ going on saturday the 19th, but id love to meet up with whoever would like to meet us.

anyone up for it? it would be great to get a nice group for a nice informal get together down there. been wanting to meet some of you guys in new jersey but never seem to get the chance- circumstance always prevents it!

if anyone is interested, please let me know! it would be nice to have the NJ C3VR folks get to gether and hang out for a while.

im also up for suggestions if you know a better location, but i think thats a nice place to assemble.

OK, sounds good, but lets make the meet point east of the mall since When I get off 80 onto 46 I'll be past the mall. Just before Rt. 3 there is a Diner, don't know the name of it.

dave- i think i know the one you speak of- i think its the brothers diner just before route 3. its across from the great notch in i think.  meeting you there is just fine with me.

glad to hear you will go- its a small group,  just 3 vettes right now. if you know of anyone else, lets get them too! any year is fine-  the more the better!

yeah uh what is your full schedule? as in what time are you leaving and what route are you taking?  I am in basking ridge. it is much easier for me to go rt 287s to the GSP by route 1 and go over the bridge. there is a rest area right there before the toll. we could meet there or if we time it i will enter on when you all are flying by.  it makes no sense for me to backtrack to north jersey to come past my house and go south. but the cruise sounds interesting and i will have my shark from the BBQ before anyhow.
