Barry, what time do you plan on heading to the inlet saturday morning. Im not sure what time they let people in but I am an early riser and hope to get there early. Let me know. Maybe we can park together in a group. Not sure how they will be doing it but I'll ask when I check in Friday morning. Give me a shout on your way by as we are on 125th street. Which way do you come into OC? RT1 or the bridge. To all who are traveling down be aware! If you are traveling down the coastal highway once you reach rehobeth, the speed limits change and dewey and bethany police make there living writng tickets at 5 MPH over the speed limit. Dewey is 30 and Bethany is 35. They sit everywhere in those towns! Hope to see you there!

Just a quick update. The weekend was great and the weather co operated. Wanted to say a special thanks to a c3vr member "bigtoe". As with the rest of the members here on this forum he is a terrific person. It was great meeting another member and getting a chance to chat with him and his wife. And he went out of his way to get us tickets for the Dinner Friday night. Thanks Again Bob, cant wait till next year! As for the drive on the boardwalk all I can say is wow! what a thrill to drive down the boardwalk with probably a couple thousand people waving you on. I never expected the crowds like that. That was a true thrill!

Rodney, thanks for the kind words.  Maybe next year we can get a few C3 buddies together and have our own party on Sat. night.  I am glad you had a good time.  I belive the final number of Vettes down the boardwalk was 654.

Sorry we didn't get to meet up, Rodney. The weekend WAS great, although the wind could have been a little less. Didn't see you at the dinner but hopefully we will at Corvettes for Chip! The crowd on the boardwalk was the largest I've seen in the three years we have been going. Jaws792010-10-19 06:13:51
