I started this thread because there are a few already out there about this event.
So, lets start using this one as the Official thread for this topic going forward!
Here's the plan:
Starting Wednesday, June 12th, 2002
All Vettes Cruise-In
Hooters in King of Prussia, PA
Every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
Starting at 7pm.
I alerted Hooters King of Prussia to the fact that we plan to be to be there starting June 12th.
I was informed that it is "Baseball Night" on Wednesdays and that Bud Lights are $1.50 and Coors Lights are $2.50 or a pitcher of either for $6.00.
I told them to expect around a dozen cars, at least the first night. Hopefully more each month!

It better not rain ! I want to see this special wax up close and personal, Chris. Is this like a "club" event where the registry is buying?
See you guys there ! Maybe George will be allowed to bring his Vette too

Yeah good idea.. .see, how this will work is... when the bill for the beer and food comes, all the attending members will submit in their "membership event dues" to me, which will just happen to equal the exact cost of the bill divided by the number of people that showed up. Then "the registry" will pay the bill out of the "membership event dues" pot.
Sound fair?!

That Glenn guy has been known to buy on occassion. I think it happened before either of you were born. I think he is still trying to make up that money and back then a buck went much further. They gave you the chicken, you got to "prepare" it for the chef who then went into the rest room and made you cook it yourself. You got to pick your own keg from "out back" . You could have any of the ones waiting for pick up. Unfortunately while you were out there you had to talk to that Bob Uecker character for a while ( even short periods seems to take forever ). He kept talking about the good old days , which back then really weren't so old and for that matter weren't so good either. Then you got to go back inside and put on a black corset, stockings with the little thing that runs up the back of your legs and high heels and then go serve yourself and you friends. Since you are all good folks, lets skip the dressing up part cause I would hate for ANY of ya to go blind ! By the way, after all that , ya still had to pay the buck !

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
I'd like to attend, but I think it would be a fairly long commute..

Hey Adam, As much as I would love to attend, Thursday is a work day and the 239 mile, one way trip is a bit much for me, as I go to bed at 10pm. I hope you guys and gals have fun. Are you going to take pictures and post them here for those of us that can't attend?
